===Generating CS1 citations===
* [[Wikipedia:RefToolbar|RefToolbar]] is part of the default source code editor.<ref group="Note">The "Source Editing" [[mW:Extension:WikiEditor|WikiEditor]] includes refToolbar 2.0 and is the default editor.</ref> It include a "Templates" menu with {{tl|cite web}}, {{tl|cite journal}}, {{tl|cite book}}, and {{tl|cite news}}. When filling out a template from the RefToolbar, select the magnifying glass icon [[File:System-search.svg|20px]] to autofill the template's parameters.<ref group="Note" name=citoid>Autofill is handled by [[mw:Citoid|Citoid]], a service which will automatically fill a templates parameters when provided the URL, DOI, ISBN, PMID, PMCID or QID.</ref>

* [[User:Svick/HarvErrors]] is very similar, but only shows confirmed errors. It does not warn when a long citation has been added but not linked from a short one (using {{tl|sfn}} or {{tl|harvnb}}).
